From London to Berlin to Stockholm: This is all stolen from Donna Summer who stole it from Ryan Electric Zoo (sorry, there’s no end to this Internet laziness!)
One of my favourite releases of last year, ‘United Groove’ by the unrivaled star of 2009 L-Vis 1990, has finally been given the honour of a remix EP. Yep, Mad Decent have pulled out all the stops for this package with host of all equally awesome remixes from Buraka Som Sistema, MJ Cole, Sound Pellegrino, Kingdom, TRG and Baobinga & ID. The ‘United Groove Remixes EP’ is out on Mad Decent and available now from iTunes, Turntable Lab and Juno.
The hottest boys in the biz right now, Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990, have started up their own label named after their infamous club nights in London – Night Slugs. First out is a super solid release called Square One EP by Mosca, which also comes with remix goodness from the label bosses as well as Julio Bashmore, Roska and no other than Greena, which is all for you to download here: Mosca – Square One (Greena Remix) (drop.io)
Square One EP will be out in all good digital download stores and on white vinyl on January 25.
Also grab Bok Bok’s promo mix he just did to promote the label and his upcoming stuff as well as his DJ skills:
I’m away skiing but I had time to do a mix for Swedish blog The Soul Lounge before I left, it will be my new years present for you. Thanks for a great 2009, let’s hope 2010 gets even better. Music rulez!

The pretty much useless remix (pic above from video) featuring rapper Wizard Sleeve of Sidney Samson’s megasuperduperbanger Riverside (Let’s Go!) gets the UK funky remix treatment (no vocals, yey!) from Lil Silva.
Like you didn’t peep this already but anyway, out of appreciation:
With its 10th release, The Hollertronix 12″ series have finally reached an end. For me, the first vinyls that came out from Diplo and Low Budget (along with their first mixtapes) are some of the most influential music I’ve come across during the last ten years. Now The Partysquad closes the series with a bang!
Check out this baby I found sitting on my shelf and recorded. Back in the day I most often played the, more soulful, original, but the dub is the one – fierce bassline pressure from K-Warren!
